Established in 1995 to make lasting changes to protect and conserve India's natural heritage, forests, and biodiversity, Wildlife SOS actively works to safeguard wildlife, conserve habitats, study biodiversity, and conduct research. The organization is well-known for rescuing and rehabilitating sloth bears, elephants, leopards, and other animals while creating alternative, sustainable livelihoods for communities previously dependent on wildlife. Through community outreach, education, and policy advocacy, Wildlife SOS promotes coexistence and biodiversity conservation.
